What clients have to say

“We would have another wedding just to work with her again! ”

Sarah was such a joy to have with us all day. I tend to hate having my picture taken, but she put me entirely at ease and made me feel like…maybe I could be a model? She is obviously an incredibly talented photographer, but she also captured the vibe of our wedding (and, honestly, who we are as a couple) perfectly.

FAQ

REACH OUT TO ME IF YOU HAVE MORE QUESTIONS OR WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE PROCESS.

  • Do you charge a travel fee?

There is no travel fee for weddings within 50 miles of New York City. Weddings outside of this range are charged on a case-by-case basis depending on your needs and timeline for the day.

  • Have you photographed at my venue before?

A huge part of my job is to walk into a space and be able to immediately see the good light, angles, and composition. And this changes depending on the time of day, weather, cloud cover, number of lights turned on in the venue, etc. etc.—meaning it will never be quite the same, even in the same venue. I’ve done this enough that I can find ‘the perfect spot’ for your photos, no matter where we are. However, I do like to be familiar with venues whenever possible (hello, Miss Always-Over-Prepared) so will do a site visit or arrive early to scout whenever possible.

  • Do you have back-up gear? What about insurance?

I am an uber-planner. I’ve got back-ups for gear, back-up transportation ready, back-ups if something happens to me before your wedding day, and take backing up your images very seriously. I carry both gear and liability insurance and can provide a COI to your venue if requested. I promise to sweat all the small stuff so you don’t have to.

  • When will I get my photos? How many images will we receive?

You can expect to receive your online gallery within 10 weeks of your wedding day. I don't shoot to give you a specific number of photos, this varies from event to event based on hours of coverage, if there is a second photographer, etc., but typically you will receive at least 50 photos/hour from your wedding.

  • Do you edit the photos we receive?

Yes. Each image you receive will get a basic edit. This means it will be color corrected and cropped when necessary and slight adjustments made to get the photo ready to view. If you order any printed products from me these photos will get an additional once over to be pro-print ready.
