Gwen and Yoav hosted a wedding day that was breezy, easy, and packed full of love. It felt like every moment of the day was surrounded by the positive energy of all of those who love them, even the ones who were unable to travel overseas to be present in person for the event.

They weren’t overly concerned with formalities, so the whole event just centered on being present with their friends and family. We kicked things off with the final few moments getting ready in their home and a first meeting together in the gardens inside their apartment complex. The whole thing was shared with their immediate families and closest friends, before we all piled into cars to drive us to Carroll Gardens.

The ceremony was lovingly performed by a dear friend in the courtyard at Frankies Spuntino in Brooklyn, followed by a delicious meal, heartfelt speeches, and a first dance to Tina Turner’s “Simply the Best.” After the afternoon lunch wrapped up the whole crew made a celebratory hike together over to Pig Beach to meet up with even more friends for another round of celebration. It was a beautiful summer day with the loveliest of people.
