Hometown BBQ, Industry City Wedding

Hometown BBQ Industry City Wedding

Casie and Michael were set up by a mutual friend and met up for the first time at a St. Patty’s Day party. They hit it off immediately. They share a love of reading, watching TV together, and travel and have had many amazing adventures together.

These two chose Hometown BBQ in Industry City for their wedding venue. They loved it for the amazing food, the chill vibe, and the open space that easily worked as ceremony space, dinner party, and dance floor.

After getting ready with their family and closest friends at their own apartment in Crown Heights and a nearby AirBnB, we all traveled to Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn for their first look and portraits. Industry City gave us an incredible backdrop for a lot of fun portraits (though we admittedly avoided the inflatable eyeballs that were part of the area’s Halloween decor 😂).

Casie and Michael had gorgeous florals provided by Jelo Flowers and Decor (check out the incredible autumn palate with hints of pink!). Casie had hair and make-up from Rie Ogura. The kick-ass dance party was guided by DJ Empanadamn. These two also brought in some additional Brooklyn love with bags of roasted nuts as favors from Nuts4Nuts, pies for dessert from Four and Twenty Blackbirds and wrapped up the night with a Mister Softee Ice Cream Truck. It was the ideal Brooklyn wedding celebration for a super fun couple.
