The Piermont, Long Island Wedding
Despite the late December date, Veronica and Zander had an absolutely GORGEOUS wedding day at The Piermont in Babylon, New York. It was so warm (we didn’t even need jackets during portraits!) and the light and sky were perfection. And there was so much love and joy in the room all day long.
Industry City Engagement Session
Clare and Chris met years ago while working together in the East Village location of St. Mark’s comics. Since then the store has relocated to Industry City and they’ve both shifted to new jobs, but the store still holds an important spot in their story and their lives.
Green Building Wedding Party
Caitie and Michelle already had an intimate wedding ceremony upstate, but wanted to throw the best dance party ever for all of their family and friends in Brooklyn to celebrate. They pulled together a truly epic event at The Green Building that lived up to the challenge.
Frankies Spuntino Wedding
Gwen and Yoav hosted a wedding day that was breezy, easy, and packed full of love. It felt like every moment of the day was surrounded by the positive energy of all of those who love them, even the ones who were unable to travel overseas to be present in person for the event.
Prospect Park Engagement Session
After many changes to wedding dates and wedding venues, and a few big city moves on their part, I was ecstatic to finally meet Julian and Maggie for their engagement session here on the home turf we now all share: Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
Long Island City Rooftop Elopement
Allison and Paul were set to throw a big wedding party in June of 2020—the summer that had other plans. Instead of postponing, they decided this was the perfect chance to have the wedding they really wanted: intimate and low-key. So, with the help of a dear friend, they set up a zoom elopement ceremony on their rooftop and invited me to capture the whole lovely affair.
Chelsea Wedding: Steven and David
Steven and David both have an artistic/theatrical background, so I knew right off the bat that we’d have an amazing time together on their wedding day. They are expressive and kind and so much fun. It was a glorious night all around at Haven’s Kitchen in Chelsea, New York.
Wave Hill Wedding: Senait and Raja
Senait and Raja chose to host their low-key, fun wedding celebration at the absolutely stunning Wave Hill. Unfortunately rain clouds kept them from having an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, but the skies cleared up enough for us to have some portrait time in the gardens. Despite the back and forth weather, the day was amazing.
Fire Island Wedding: Ocean Beach. Eva and Pat
Eva grew up spending lots of time on Fire Island with her family. And when she began dating Pat, she brought him along for the ride. So when they began to plan their wedding, it seemed like the perfect place for an incredibly fun weekend with all of their family and friends.
